Le Pianore is a CCPB certified organic farmstead and we feel honoured to be the custodians of more than 30 hectares of woodlands traversed by the Zancona river and its tributaries. We manage our forests to provide the wood we need, ensuring forest regeneration and sustainable energy use. With more than 80% of our energy coming from renewable sources (solar panels and sustainably managed wood), we are proudly on our way to reaching our goal of total energy self-sufficiency. Furthermore, all water destined for agricultural use, including irrigation of the vegetable gardens, comes directly from the spring that bubbles up behind Maladina.
Here you can enjoy our 0km, organic wines and oils, honey from our hives and home-cooked Tuscan meals, straight from the garden to the table.
Our Tuscan Kitchen
Le Pianore is a place for all seasons and this is reflected in our kitchen. We use seasonal produce grown in our own organic vegetable gardens, along with locally sourced, organic goods wherever possible.
Within our family we have two vegetarians, one serious sweet tooth, a health nut, a dedicated carnivore, and one chronic sufferer of lactose intolerance. So we know about diverse needs and how to make everyone feel nourished and loved! Our guests are all different too, and we enjoy that; we mingle with monks and mambo dancers, yin yogis and ashtangis.
We are able to cater for vegans and carnivores alike and will be sure to make people with food allergies feel especially looked after.

Cooking Classes: Learn to make pasta like nonna during a relaxed and informal cooking class right here in our country kitchen. We create the menu together according to your personal tastes and you can enjoy the fruits of your laboured accompanied by a glass of our easy-drinking, organic red wine.
